with an aim to survive in Hyderabad to finish my BE degree but never knew that in coming years teaching would be the profession that I would end up choosing or rather teaching chose me. I started with personal tutoring and over the period of time with help of dear ones decided to start a proper tuition centre. In the last ten years of teaching journey I have come across lot of kids with different kind of needs. My first kid that I had taught was an autistic child there I learnt how I have to teach things in a simplistic manner with immense patience, I also learnt that human brain can retain things only with good number of repetitions in a lucid manner. All this while I learnt one thing that kids tend to pick up what we do and thus teacher should be such that he/she should lead by an example.
We at Ankuram do not focus on getting the rot learning part of education but we try to build the confidence of each kid that we teach. It is quite simple but overly neglected part of education system that before embarking on any math’s or science topic we try to first clear the basics required to get things right. Now the thing boils down to how do we manage this in group class. We achieve this by carefully understanding where the kid stands when he/she joins us and then we with cooperation of parents try to build a specific tailor made schedule for a kid. What we need from parents is just some faith and patience with us and then we would be able to get the best out of their kids.
We, at Ankuram believe follow money but money always follows excellence and this can only be achieved if each kid who studies with us has an amazing experience and that should reflect in their confidence in the subject and also in their marks. The most important thing that we strive for is removing that inherent fear that each kid has for studies and this we try to achieve by handholding them in almost all types of specific numerical that they encounter. Nowadays education system is quite practical application based hence we cannot undermine
the importance of numerical in them. We try to cover the theory part in a way that students feel confident before we move towards the application based questions.
